Are you firmly planted?

When we delight (enjoy, find pleasure) in reading God's word and we make it a habit to meditate on it first thing in the morning and before we go to bed at night, this is what God says you will become; "like a tree FIRMLY PLANTED and FED by streams of water (salvation and eternal life)" Psalm 1:1-3

Now, we all know what happens when we plant something and water it and nurture it, it grows and does not wither. It yields a flower or a fruit IN IT'S SEASON.

For us it means we will grow and prosper (come to maturity) in WHATEVER we do. So don't just read the word. Enjoy it like you would a good romance novel, meditate on it so that it gets all up in ya' and then BLOOM!
