Ask big, believe big!
"What do you want me to do for you? He said, "Lord, let me regain my sight!" -Luke 18:41
How many times have we talked ourselves out of asking God for something? Or, how many times have we let other talk us out of asking God for something? In the story of blind Bartimaeus, as Jesus was approaching Jericho, on his way to Jerusalem, Bartimaeus shouted out asking Jesus to do him a solid, to do something miraculous for him, to restore his sight!
Now, others were trying to shush Bartimaeus up, but he would not! He kept on, even begging Jesus to have mercy on him! It was then that Jesus stopped asked him, "what do you want me to do for you?" See it pays to have a big mouth sometimes!😁
Well you know the rest of the story, if not, take a moment to read it. But this got me thinking. What if Bartimaeus had listened to those telling him to be quiet? What if he had talked himself out of even begging Jesus, the Messiah, to have mercy on him and help him? What if he was afraid to ask big and believe big that day?
When we ask big and believe big this is what God says; your FAITH has made you well! In other words, your FAITH has already created the path towards that thing that you're asking God for!
He already knows our needs, he's just waiting for us to scream it out! Shout it out, get his attention, and by FAITH He will do it for you!
Many of us have a big testimony this week on how they asked big and believed big and God did that!!!!!
Now lets give God a shout of praise up in here!🙋♀️🙋♀️💃💃
