Daily Challenge!
Befriend someone who is NOT a friend of God!
Why do I call this a daily challenge? Well, it's so easy to talk to like minded people. When someone shares the same views, values, and opinions as you, everything is easy peasy! But, it's quite a daunting task to communicate with someone who doesn't quite see things the way you do. It can become downright annoying.
I find this to be especially true when it comes to our faith. Talk about stepping into a wind storm! One of two things will happen, we either AVOID or we CONFRONT. You've heard people say "I don't talk politics or religion", right? I know I've said it a million times! That's the AVOIDANCE. Or you'll hear people getting into heated debates about the Bible and who God is. That would be the CONFRONTATION.
What if we tried a different approach to all this. What if we, as believers in Christ decided to be open to listening and engaging those whose opinions, beliefs, etc. are different from ours. What if, instead of screaming Jesus in their face we just carry ourselves in the way that Christ has taught us. You know the saying, "seeing is believing "
When they see how you act, how you carry yourself, your character, when you wear that garment of praise and adoration for Christ, you won't even have to open your mouth! They will see it!

Love those, with the love of God, that don't love Him. This is how we win souls ya'll! I heard a pastor say this weekend, "I love to be around heathens" I was like what????.... but as he continued to preach I understood where he was going with it. Even in the midst of those who don't believe, without passing judgment, you can be a strong witness for the Lord. Stand strong in your faith, show them your Christ like attitude. You never know, you may be the very person who brings them to Chist!
So challenge yourself today! Sit amongst those who sit on the outside. Befriend someone who is not a friend of God!
