Peace be still
Pushing through in difficult times is not for wimps. I mean, you really have to be patient with yourself and God. You have to trust the process and know that all the trials, difficulty, push back, etc. is somehow working together for your good. I am witnessing this in this season of my life and God keeps reassuring me that patient trust in him is key. His promise to never leave or for sake you and I are true.
When we make the decision not to Persevere during the rough times, when we throw our hands up and holler "why me", our bondage, that difficult season, that rough time, begins to look like freedom. We would rather give up, settle into the comfort of oppression because we think it's easier. It feels uncomfortably comfortable, and there we sit!
But let me drop this in your spirit:
When things become uneasy and brings discomfort there's a lesson in it! It's urging you to become the man and woman God is calling you to be. In other words, you're going through growing pains boo! As they say "No pain, no gain". It's in these times That we truly learn to trust God. Our faith is strengthened when we trust him in difficult times! It is then that our peace become still within us and we can wait patiently and fervently until our change comes!
