Forgiveness Prayer:
Lord, how blind I am to think that paying someone back, if even in my thoughts, can remove the pain I feel. I forgive the person who hurt me so I can turn to you and be healed from what has been done to me. Thank you for the gift of forgiveness, Lord.-Wisdom Hunters
Who do you need to forgive? What do you need to release to the universe so that you can be healed?
We're moving into a new year, a new season. Let's consider what we take with us and what we will graciously and humbly leave behind. We have choice!
When we hold on to hurt it blocks God's healing for our pain. Revenge and justification can never heal, only forgiveness can, and who better to help you with forgiveness than the one who forgave you! Yes, the man, the one and only, our Abba!
Give your pain to God and accept the hurt others have inflicted upon you. That is the only way you can heal! We do not have the capacity to do it on our own!
Remember, forgiving is a gift from the Lord!
