The Treasure Within

But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it will be evident that such overwhelming power comes from God and not from us. We have all kinds of troubles, but we are not crushed; we are perplexed, yet not in despair; persecuted, yet not abandoned; knocked down, yet not destroyed. 2 Corinthians (2 Co) 4:7‭-‬9 CJB https://bible.com/bible/1275/2co.4.7-9.CJB 

 Let men see that the power we exercise comes from God, and not from ourselves. We as believers hold the treasure of the gospel within us, our earthern vessels. Even though we are broken, beat up, confused, and frail, God chose to deposit the  Gospel within our weak Jars of Clay . 

Why, because His power works through weak people. If he only used strong, powerful, and impressive people then others would give honor to them and not God!

 You see, he uses ordinary people like you, like me to hold the treasure, the light of the gospel!
