FAITH
God's main concern is with our faith, our attitude towards Him and trust in Him, and least concerned with how we "go through the motions."
It's clear and simple. You want to please God, you need to have faith! There is no room for insincere works and robotic obedience. All of that is worthless to God.
In a nutshell, faith is obedience to God when fulfillment of his promises seem distant.
Think about the times you didn't know who, what, when, where, or how but you hung in there with nothing but your faith, and didn't he come through?
No faith, no Divine pleasure!
