30 Pieces of Silver
Do you value yourself?
I want you to really think about that for a minute before you answer.
I know, our first response would be yes girl of course I do! I love me!
But I challenge you to take time and really evaluate yourself. I know that I devalue myself every day by the little things I think. It's the negative self talk that your not even aware of....
"That was dumb"
"Your crazy if you think you can do that"
"There not gunna like you because…."
These thoughts devalue us every day. We're affirming these things over our life!
The Bible tells us the stories of how Jesus was sold out by Judas for 30 pieces of silver ( Matthew 26: 14-16) and Josephs brothers sold him into slavery for 20 (Genesis 37:28-29).
They both were deemed as worthless. Their lives had no value (to their betrayers).
It's bad enough when others devalue us but when we do it to ourselves it's way worse.
But I'm here to tell you, you were fearfully and wonderfully made! He made no mistakes when he was creating you. He didn't put hate, doubt, or fear in you. He put power, love, and a sound mind!
So go easy on yourself, pay attention to the negative self talk you have with yourself daily. and with each negative thought, replace it with a positive!
The Bible is full of scriptures that affirm who we are in Christ Jesus! He put it there because he knew that this world would give us a run for our money honey. This world will sell us out for 30 pieces of silver or less so he gave us scripture after scripture that we can turn to to get our worth back on track!
Start off with(Psalm 139:14) "I am fearfully and wonderfully made"
(John 1:12)I am a child of God
(Ephesians 1:4) He chose me to be his friend and I am seen as holy in his eyes.
I am valuable to the father, I matter.
(Psalm 139:14 TPT) thank you God for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is Marvelously breathtaking!
I love y'all for real!
