All You Can Eat Buffet

Hey Love Bugs!

Can you remember back in the 90’s when the all you can eat buffets were the thing! Man, that was the highlight of our weekend! You would go there and see a plethora of delicious foods and desserts to choose from. Your eyes would bugg out and the best part was you could eat as much as you wanted! It was like an endless supply of food! They would just keep coming out from the kitchen, replenishing, and re-loading and you would keep going back to fill up your plate! Now, truth be told, some of our eyes were bigger than our stomachs 👀 but nonetheless, we went in on that food!

No, hunger did not prompt me to write this! LOL but the story of how Jesus fed the 5,000 or so people with just 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread did! That right there was not only one of Jesus’ great miracles but also a great lesson. This was my takeaway; We may look at a situation in our lives and say “ this will never work, there’s not enough of whatever”. But love bugs, God doesn’t need much, and the real tea is, He doesn’t need any help from us but what He does require is our PARTICIPATION! Next, GIVE THANKS for what you already have and EXPECT more. EXPECT the blessing! See, the miracle was not in the 2 fish and 5 loaves but in the hands that gave thanks first( you can shout right here)! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 And lastly, God’s supply is lavish and extravagant! The 5,000 had as much as they wanted. They ate until they were full and satisfied, probably much like we did when we used to go to the all you can eat buffet! I can just imagine, they probably laid down on that beautiful lush green grass and took a nap after that meal, you know what we call that, “the itis” LOL!

I’ll sum it up like this, God's generosity is like an all you can eat buffet! He gives us as much as we want and need. NEVER doubt His provision. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures (with a full stomach),He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for His namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil for He is with me. His rod and his staff comforts me. He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies (all you can eat buffet), He anoints my head with oil, my cup runs over (I am full, stuffed to the gills). Surely Goodness and Mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell ( live, reside, hang out) in the house of the Lord for ever and ever. AMEN!

I love y’all for real!
