Trust God With Your When
Do you remember when you were little and you would say "when I grow up I'm going to be"…
Or have you ever said, "when I get some money, I'm going to"…..
How about this one, "when I loose weight I'm gonna"….
We have a lot of "when's ", but have you ever stopped to think about what God would say about your "when"? How often do we have a dream, come up with an idea, have a plan for what our life is going to look like but never consult with God about it!
Proverbs 19:21 says "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."
Yes, it's ok to dream and plan, to visualize what you want, but it's also equally important to bring those dreams and desires to God! Consult with him through prayer and suplication knowing that it is ultimately his purpose for you that will stand!
Now, his purpose for you isn't just about you. His purpose for you may be about someone else!!! Did you hear that? Yea, the plan is never about us! And trust and believe, that purpose, that plan will be waaay better than anything we could hope for! I call that blessed assurance!
So, my little tidbit for today is, trust God with your "when"
It will bless you and somebody else!
